What are the pricing options for the kiosk or workstation, and what are the steps to buy?

Aila’s hardware is about half the cost of most traditional self-service kiosks, offering excellent ROI. You can choose to purchase outright or lease the hardware based on your needs.Contact our sales team for pricing and ordering options.

How durable is the Kiosk or Workstation?

Aila kiosks and workstations are enterprise-grade designed for commercial self-service and frontline worker operations. The Head Unit is built with durable ABS plastic, a steel faceplate, and a barrel-lock system for tamper resistance and long-term reliability.

Yes. For enterprise deployments, Aila offers custom software development to support tailored workflows. The Head Unit is also compatible with third-party applications via our SDK, which delivers high-performance image-based scanning to virtually any iOS app. We can additionally recommend partner solutions that work out of the box.

Is the iPad included?

Aila is an Authorized Apple Reseller and can supply the iPads for your deployment as part of your self-service or workstation solution.

Does the Aila Kiosk or Workstation support different orientations?

iPad 11″ (A16) Head Unit: Supports landscape and portrait; scanning is available in landscape only.
iPad Air 13″ (M2/M3) & iPad Pro 13″ (M4/M5) Head Unit: Designed for landscape orientation.

Do Aila products come with a warranty?

Yes. All Aila products include a one-year warranty covering manufacturer defects.

Is Aila’s SDK required to use the kiosk or workstation with my app?

The SDK is required for applications that depend on Aila’s advanced image-based scanning and lighting. Other workflows can operate without integration.

Can the Aila Kiosks or Workstations be integrated with existing systems, such as POS or inventory management?

Yes. If your existing application does not already include an Aila integration, simply have your software provider reach out to us. We’ll provide the integration materials and support needed to enable compatibility.

Does Aila support 3rd-party peripherals?

Yes. Our USB-C hub supports power and data connectivity for peripherals such as payment terminals, assistive devices, fingerprint readers, printers, and other iOS/iPadOS-compatible devices.

Is remote device management supported?
